Fees

$85/hour* (remote or in person)

• Remote sessions are by Zoom; in-person sessions normally at a student’s home or other mutually agreed upon location.

• Hourly fees are prorated after the first hour.

Please note:

• If preparation for an initial tutoring session requires more than 30 minutes of my time (e.g., I must review a book or take time to read a longer piece of writing), I charge my hourly rate (prorated) after that first 30 minutes. If I am reading and commenting on a student’s work, I charge my hourly rate (prorated).

• If a student does not attend their tutoring slot, I will charge my full rate for the first hour.

• I require a 24 hour cancellation notice: if cancellation is between 12-24 hours, I will charge $35 for the missed session; if cancellation notice is under 12 hours, the first full hour ($75) will be charged.

Payments can be made by Venmo or Zelle.
